The Committed Pig

THE PIG IS COMMITTED

"The difference between involvement and commitment is like ham and eggs. The chicken is involved; the pig is committed."

When you first walk into The Committed Pig, located in the heart of Morristown, New Jersey this quote is one of the first things you'll see - adorning a mural just to the right of the host stand. Except, like most things at "The Pig," they've put their own twist on things - adding a question underneath..."Which One Are You?"

Commitment is a major theme to the story behind The Committed Pig, quickly becoming one of NJ's premier comfort food destinations - with locations now in Manasquan, Summit, and MoTown. Owner Jerry Rotunno, a Culinary Institute of American graduate, struggled initially to get support for his vision - fresh, comforting, really tasty food in a relaxed, comfortable environment. But Jerry was committed, and soon received help from his family, specifically his brothers who helped him construct and manage his first restaurant (formerly "Food" in Summit, now a "Pig"). His younger brother Dillon started as a server at The Committed Pig in Manasquan, and just a few years later is the manager working tirelessly behind-the-scenes to make Morristown's Committed Pig that go-to destination for so many people looking for a delicious brunch and quite possibly the tastiest burger you'll ever have.

All of The Pig's burgers feature hugely-popular Pat LaFrieda signature meat and an assortment of toppings and combinations - although both Jerry and Dillon admit, there's no burger they love more than a traditional, juicy cheeseburger.

Jerry, Dillon, and the whole CP team clearly love what they do and are fully committed to giving their guests a delicious meal and a comfortable, friendly dining experience. This film tells the story behind what makes The Committed Pig so special and a place you must check out this summer.

Hope you enjoy the film as much as we did making it. Dig in.
